Paid component terms and licence

Sales terms version 1.2 — 12 October 2026. Paid-component licence version 1.0 — approved 10 October 2026. Applies to individual carousel components at £3.99 and the Meridian, Signal and Atlas Bento Grids and Chapter, Aperture and Index Card Sliders at £2.99 each.

1. Approved paid-component licence

Copyright © 2026 Mark Williams trading as Vantage Digital Studio, to the extent rights subsist in the supplied work. Version: 1.0 — approved 10 October 2026.

When you buy a component, you receive a non-exclusive licence to use the purchased component and supplied documentation. You are buying permission to use the code, not exclusive ownership of the original code.

Permitted use

  • Use the purchased component for personal or commercial purposes on unlimited websites, including completed client websites.
  • Modify the layout, content, branding, links, colours, images and fonts. Use your own brand; no Vantage logo, credit or backlink is required.
  • Give the code to developers, contractors or AI tools for integration or customisation of your projects. Check the tool's data-use settings before uploading confidential project content.
  • Charge clients for integration and website work. Hand over the completed website and its source; the client may operate, maintain and customise that website.
  • Serve the component's browser code normally to visitors of completed websites.

Standalone distribution

You must not sell, share, sublicense or redistribute the component as a standalone component, whether modified or unmodified, free or paid. This includes placing it in public component repositories, downloadable template packs, libraries or marketplaces. The project integration, client handover and ordinary browser delivery permitted above are exceptions to this restriction.

The licence is worldwide and has no time limit for permitted uses. A client's right to receive a finished site does not grant permission to distribute the component separately. You keep ownership of your own original additions, subject to any underlying rights.

Scope and your rights

The licence covers only the files identified in the purchased package. Vantage showroom artwork, demonstration photography, full demonstration websites and Vantage branding are excluded unless a file is expressly identified as licensed for redistribution. Any separately identified third-party material retains its own licence and notices.

Keep a copy of your download and purchase confirmation. No compulsory renewal, subscription, lifetime feature updates or unlimited support is included. Nothing here removes statutory rights, remedies for faulty content or commitments expressly made on the product page.

2. Digital-product sales terms

Who sells the product

These terms apply to one-time purchases of Vantage component code through this website. Separate agreements cover commissioned website work and other products. The product page and licence form part of your purchase contract.

Product information and price

Each purchase is for the named component only. Individual Carousels cost £3.99; Meridian, Signal and Atlas Bento Grids and Chapter, Aperture and Index Card Sliders cost £2.99 each, total in pounds sterling. We are not VAT registered and do not charge VAT. There are no delivery or Vantage payment surcharges. The product page identifies the exact package contents, version, system requirements, supported browsers, functionality and any known limitations before you order.

Initial sales are offered to customers based in the United Kingdom. The licence permits worldwide use of a legitimately purchased component. An internationally visible demonstration does not mean checkout is available in every country.

You need a way to download and extract ZIP files and integrate HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Integration into a website builder may require its custom-code features. Installation, bespoke development and third-party subscriptions are not included unless expressly stated. Compatibility information will reflect actual release testing.

Ordering, payment and delivery

You can review and correct the selected product and customer details before paying. Stripe processes payment on its hosted checkout. The final payment control will clearly state the amount due. We accept your order when payment has been confirmed and we issue the order acceptance confirmation; if we cannot accept or supply it, we will notify you and refund any payment taken.

Card checkout may first authorise the amount. We check your UK declaration and Stripe billing country before capturing it; an ineligible authorisation is cancelled. A temporary hold can still appear. When you request immediate supply and acknowledge the effect on cancellation, we make the download available after payment verification and send the contract confirmation to your email. The confirmation includes the applicable terms, licence, order details and your immediate-supply acknowledgement in a form you can keep. The payment-return page alone is not proof of successful payment.

We use Resend to send order confirmations and protected download links. Emails are sent from orders@receipts.vantagedigitalstudio.com. Replies and support requests go to sales@vantagedigitalstudio.com.

Download links expire after 24 hours for security. Link expiry does not end the licence or remove your purchase rights. Save the ZIP locally; contact us with your order reference if you need a replacement link. We will help restore access after checking the order. No customer account is required to purchase a component.

Support and responsibility

Contact sales@vantagedigitalstudio.com for missing files, delivery failures, compatibility questions or faults. Include your order reference, browser/version and a concise description. Do not email payment-card details, passwords or confidential client code.

We will provide what we have described and honour applicable consumer rights. Custom integration and new design features are separate services. We do not promise a response-time guarantee or unlimited development support.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not impose a blanket exclusion of responsibility or a financial liability cap. Consumer rights remain enforceable regardless of download consent.

Complaints and applicable law

Please contact us first so we can investigate. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing mandatory consumer protections. A UK consumer may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where they live where the law permits. Any required dispute-resolution information will be provided if a complaint remains unresolved; no ADR membership is claimed.

3. Cancellation and refunds

If you are a consumer, you generally have 14 days after the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason. For an immediate digital download, that right ends only after supply has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that you will lose it. We confirm that consent and acknowledgement in the contract email.

For immediate delivery, we ask you to give this consent using a separate, initially unticked checkbox:

I expressly consent to immediate supply of the digital download before the end of the 14-day cancellation period. I acknowledge that I will lose my right to cancel once supply begins.

If you do not consent, do not continue with this immediate-delivery offer. No payment is taken through that flow. The text does not waive rights for faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming content.

If something is wrong

Paid digital content must meet the standards the law requires, including being of satisfactory quality, fit for any agreed purpose and as described. Where applicable, you can require repair or replacement at no cost, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. If that is impossible or not provided as required, a price reduction, potentially the full price, may be due. Other remedies apply in some circumstances, including where we had no right to supply the content, or failed to use reasonable care and skill and your device or other digital content was damaged.

We do not use an “all sales final” policy. A valid statutory refund will be processed without undue delay and within the applicable legal deadline, normally no later than 14 days after the relevant cancellation notice or agreement that a refund is due. We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without charging a refund fee. Bank processing time may affect when the credit appears.

How to cancel or report a fault

Email sales@vantagedigitalstudio.com with your name, order reference, product and request. A clear statement is sufficient; you do not have to use the form below. Where a cancellation right still exists, send your notice before the cancellation period ends.
